Support Engineer Python/Azure/

Job summary:

We are looking for a Service Engineer to support the reliability, quality, and operational excellence of cloud-based services. The role focuses on incident response, automation, testing, release validation, vulnerability remediation, and service operations. The ideal candidate should have strong Python development skills, experience with Azure cloud technologies, and the ability to work effectively with global engineering teams across multiple regions and time zones.

Key responsibilities:

1、Respond to, diagnose, and mitigate live-site incidents and support service reliability through on-call rotations.

2、Design and implement end-to-end test scenarios, validation cases, and automation solutions to improve testing efficiency and quality.

3、Support vulnerability remediation activities, including dependency upgrades, security fixes, image rebuilds, and compliance requirements.

4、Perform deployment validation, release verification, and operational troubleshooting to improve service stability and efficiency.

5、Collaborate with global engineering and operations teams to support incident response, release coordination, and project execution across regions and time zones.

Required skills and qualification:

1、Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

2、3+ Python programming skills with experience developing automation tools and scripts.

3、Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and core platform concepts.

4、Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

5、Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze logs and investigate service issues.

6、Good written and verbal English communication skills, coupled with fluent Mandarin listening and speaking abilities.

Preferred qualification:

1、Experience with end-to-end test automation.

2、Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, Azure ML, Docker, Kubernetes, vulnerability remediation, and production service operations.

3、Hands-on experience leveraging AI-powered tools (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Azure AI Services) to improve engineering productivity, automation, testing, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.

Client preference:

1、3+ years of software engineering, automation, service operations, or cloud platform support experience.

2、Experience working in global or cross-regional engineering teams.

3、Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and drive issues to resolution.
