Sustainability Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and technically skilled sustainability analyst to support sustainability and decarbonization initiatives through carbon accounting, reporting, and renewable energy certificate (REC) management. This role also acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for sustainability practices and EnerLoop's Carbon Management platform, enabling clients and internal teams to make data-driven sustainability decisions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead preparation and creation of sustainability & carbon reporting (familiarity on Scope 1, 2 & 3 in line with global standards)
- Manage end-to-end REC Lifecycle (asset registration, verification and issuances as well as redemption and retirement tracking) while ensuring compliance to I-REC standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and support in proposal creation for all REC transactions
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EnerLoop's Carbon Management platform by providing training & insights to both internal and external stakeholders
- Support development of AI-driven insights for operational and sustainability improvements
- Provide advisory on sustainability strategies, compliance, and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Energy, or related field
- 1–3 years experience in sustainability, carbon accounting, or energy-related roles
- Familiarity with carbon accounting platforms
- Interest in entire sustainability ecosystem and keeping up to date with latest global development
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate insights clearly through visuals and concise summaries
- Comfortable interacting with internal & external stakeholders
