Reclimate is a climate-tech venture focused on advancing carbon removal solutions. We work with partners across Malaysia and the Global South to develop high-impact carbon projects that support climate resilience, rural livelihoods, and responsible land and waste management. Our core initiative works with agricultural partners across ASEAN to turn waste into biochar, turning waste into climate action and socioeconomic benefits for local communities.
Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate, creative storyteller to join us as a Sustainability &Communications Intern. Your role will be focused on supporting our sustainability project operations, and growing our presence on social media and digital platforms. If you care about the planet, enjoy content creation, and have an eye for design, this role is a perfect fit.
You will work closely with our operations and communications team, gaining hands-on exposure to real climate projects, and help shape how sustainability and climate-tech work is communicated to the world.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Operations & Admin: Support operational monitoring, data analysis, and preparation of project documentations as needed.
- Social Media & Design: Create content for sustainability communications across our official website, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels (e.g., posts, visuals, carousels, decks, flyers, infographics).
- Copywriting: Translate technical or operational sustainability work into clear, accurate, and engaging content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Website: Support web updates for ongoing project milestones, new products, and community impact to share.
Requirements
- Education: Current university studentin Malaysia from Sustainability, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Communications, Media, or other related backgrounds
- Passions: Strong interest in sustainability, climate action, and social impact
- Skills: Strong writing and communication skills, with sharp attention to clarity, grammar, and accuracy
- Tools: Familiarity with basic graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut) is a must.
- Mindset: Curious, proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting
