Do you see yourself as Sustainability Manager with IHG's Luxury brand

To lead and drive the resort's sustainability and ESG agenda in alignment with IHG's environmental and social responsibility frameworks. The role focuses on reducing environmental impact, enhancing community engagement, ensuring compliance, and embedding sustainability into the guest experience and hotel operations.

Your day to day:-

1. Sustainability Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement the resort's sustainability strategy aligned with IHG's global ESG goals (e.g., carbon reduction, water stewardship, waste management)
• Drive initiatives across energy efficiency, plastic reduction, biodiversity, and responsible sourcing
• Establish measurable targets and track progress through defined KPIs

2. Environmental Management

• Monitor and optimize energy, water, and waste usage across the resort
• Lead initiatives such as renewable energy adoption, waste segregation, composting, and recycling programs
• Conduct regular environmental audits and identify improvement opportunities
• Ensure reduction of single-use plastics and promote circular economy practices

3. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with local environmental laws and regulations
• Maintain documentation and reporting for IHG ESG platforms (e.g., internal sustainability reporting tools)
• Support certifications and audits (e.g., Green Key, EarthCheck, LEED where applicable)
• Prepare sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders

4. Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with all departments (Engineering, Housekeeping, F&B, Procurement, HR) to integrate sustainability into daily operations
• Liaise with corporate ESG teams and ownership representatives
• Build partnerships with local communities, NGOs, and sustainable vendors

5. Guest Experience & Awareness

• Integrate sustainability into the guest journey (eco-friendly amenities, experiences, communication)
• Develop guest-facing programs such as conservation activities, local cultural engagement, and eco-tours
• Promote awareness through in-room communication, signage, and digital channels

6. Training & Culture Building

• Lead sustainability training and awareness programs for all hotel colleagues
• Embed a culture of responsibility and accountability across teams
• Develop sustainability champions within departments
