Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bayan Lepas for a Sustaining Technician. The Sustaining Technician will be responsible for supporting production operations by troubleshooting equipment, maintaining machinery, and ensuring optimal performance levels. Responsibilities include conducting repairs and maintenance of equipment, resolving technical issues, and assisting engineers with process optimizations and improvements. The role also involves documenting processes and collaborating with other teams to ensure a smooth production cycle.

Qualifications

1-2 years e

• xperience in troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment and machinery
• Fresh graduates may be considered.
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor-related processes such as assembly, wafer testing, or substrate processing
• Familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO14001 regulations, as well as RoHS compliance
• Technical skills in interpreting technical documents, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Certificate SKM L3/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronic or related field) or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience in OSAT or semiconductor manufacturing is an advantage
• Previous experience in die sorter or Tape and Reel process is an advantage
