Job Description

Location: Sek 13, Petaling Jaya

Role Summary:

  • Product owner/SME for UKG Pro Workforce Management (Kronos ProWFM) platform. You will design, configure, and optimize Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Leave/Absence, Accruals, Pay Rules/Work Rules, Attestation, and related Compliance to deliver a consistent, compliant, and highly usable experience for frontline employees, managers, HR Services, and Payroll.
  • You will partner closely with Payroll (e.g., Ramco), HRIS (e.g., Workday/TalentLink), People Operations, and regional/business stakeholders to ensure accurate time capture, efficient scheduling, and errorfree payroll outputswhile driving continuous improvement and analyticsled decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Configuration

  • Own the functional design and configuration of UKG Pro WFM modules: Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduling, Accruals, Leave/Absence, Attestation, Pay Codes, Pay Rules, Work Rules, Rounding, Grace, Holiday rules, Shift & Meal/Break logic.
  • Maintain country- and business-specific configurations (union rules, premiums, shift differentials, night work, statutory rest, OT thresholds, dayoff definitions).
  • Govern environment strategy (DEV/TEST/PROD), release management, and tenant hygiene (naming standards, versioning, documentation).

Integrations & Data Quality

  • Own functional specs for integrations to Payroll (e.g., Ramco), HR Core (e.g., Workday), ATS (e.g., TalentLink), Identity/Access, and analytics platforms.
  • Validate interface mappings, transformations, and cutoff controls to ensure right-first-time payroll.
  • Monitor and improve data quality (timecard accuracy, missing punches, schedule adherence, accrual balances, leave entitlements).

Operations Excellence & CI

  • Lead rootcause analysis for T&A issues (e.g., rounding anomalies, OT miscalculation, shift premiums).
  • Drive continuous improvement (automation of approvals, exception handling, templates, replication of best practices).
  • Define and track KPIs (see section below) and report trends to HR Services, HRBPs, and Payroll.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure configurations align with local labor laws (working time, rest periods, OT/PH rules), CBAs/union agreements, and company policy.
  • Implement controls to prevent backdated or noncompliant transactions; define audit trails and documentation standards.
  • Partner with Legal/Compliance on risk assessments and periodic audits.

Change, Training & Support

  • Run impact assessments, UAT (test scripts, test data), and production validations for releases and enhancements.
  • Create and deliver training (managers, HRBPs, HR Services) and knowledge articles (FAQs, job aids, quick guides).
  • Serve as Tier3 functional escalation; manage vendor SRs and enhancement requests with UKG/Oracle/other partners.

Stakeholder Management

  • Facilitate People Operations Pulse / Project Leads cadence to review metrics, risks, and actions.
  • Align priorities with HR Services, HRBPs, Plant/Operations leaders, and Payroll to balance experience, compliance, and cost.
  • Present roadmaps and quarterly outcomes in QBRs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Kronos/UKG WFM
  • Handson configuration of Pay Rules, Work Rules, Rounding, Accruals, Leave, Advanced Scheduling, and attestation.
  • Experience integrating WFM with Payroll systems (e.g., Ramco, ADP, SAP, NGA) and HRIS (e.g., Workday/SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Strong background in testing (SIT/UAT), release management, and change control.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to translate policy/compliance into system logic.
