Description
We are seeking an experienced System Analyst with expertise in Smart/400 to join our team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system analysis and a deep understanding of Smart/400 technologies to help us optimize our business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design / Document / Implement / Test / Deploy systems & solutions to meet the business needs
- Analyse business requirements to perform feasibility studies / gap analysis / functional / technical design for new systems
- Work closely with Project Manager, Business Analyst and Technical Delivery teams to ensure quality of deliveries
- Lead and guide the development team on system development / implementation lifecycle
- Coordinate ST, SIT and UAT activities
- Responsible for production deployment and relevant change management processes
- Work closely with other organizational units and external parties in systems implementation
- Responsible for end-to-end system design
- Responsible for functional /integration/ technical / administration / operation documentations of supported systems
- Active involvement in uat/production support to ensure systems availability and stability
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or related field
- At least 4 years working experience in system design and development.
- Knowledge in SMART/400 is a must.
- Experience in DXC applications is added advantage.
- Preferable with Life or Takaful insurance knowledge background.
- Good team player and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Able to demonstrate good problem-solving techniques in a business and/or technical environment.
