Responsibilities:
- Supporting sales team by providing business-technical consulting advice and solution, including demo and proof of concept (POC)
- Responsible to provide pre-sales consulting for:
- Servers (Cisco, HPE, Dell)
- Storage (NetApp, Pure Storage, Hitachi),
- Hyperconverged (Nutanix, Hyperflex, Azure Stack HCI)
- Microsoft products (Active Directory, Exchange, M365, Azure, SCCM)
- Virtualization platform (VMware, Hyper-V),
- Backup Platform (Veritas, Cohesity, Veeam)
- VDI (eg. Citrix, Omnissa)
- The presales will also be responsible to taking customer's technical, financial, and business requirement into consideration to recommend optimal configuration or solution and deliver presentation, tender proposals, included with bill of material as result.
- Work closely with our Microsoft BDM to increase the adoption of Microsoft Azure cloud, modern workplace, and security solutions to customer through customer assessments, customer meetings, and actively involved in executing Go-To-Market strategy for Microsoft technologies.
Required Certification:
- Candidates must possess certifications related to Microsoft 365 and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Specifically, one of the following certifications is mandatory:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
The Individual and their Experience:
- Proven experience in system and cloud solution design, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Exchange, M365, and Entra ID.
- Familiarity with solutions such as AVD, Intune, AvePoint, and Quest.
- Strong communication and presentation skills able to engage both technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
- Solid proposal writing and solution documentation capabilities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Defender security solutions is required.
- Additional cloud knowledge (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with storage networking (iSCSI, SAN), VDI (Citrix XenDesktop, Omnissa), and Linux is advantageous.
- Exposure to AI infrastructure, load balancing, data encryption, and monitoring/management tools is a strong plus.
- Experience with analytics or BI platforms is an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to align technical solutions with business challenges.
