Scope of Work

A. Project

Title: System Development and Support for Manufacturing and Automation application

Location: Penang

Role: Support the MES Transformation program by enhancing and modifying existing HMI/SCADA applications (e.g., Wonderware InTouch) to enable seamless integration with MES and shopfloor systems.

B. Scope of Work

· Expected Date of Join: Jun 2026

· Working Hours: 8.00am to 5.00pm (Monday to Friday)

· Reporting to Manufacturing IT team.

· Support integration assessment and documentation of existing MFG Application

· Assist in impact analysis and requirement gathering

· Analyze and understand existing HMI/SCADA applications (e.g., Wonderware InTouch)

· Modify and enhance HMI applications to support MES integration requirements

· Support interface testing and validation (SIT, UAT)

· Assist in data mapping and signal validation between systems

· Troubleshoot and resolve HMI/SCADA-related issues during integration and rollout

· Support defect fixing and troubleshooting activities

· Prepare technical documentation and test evidence

· Participate in deployment and post-go-live support

C. Requirements

· 2–4 years of experience in HMI/SCADA application development or support

· Hands-on experience with Wonderware InTouch (or similar HMI/SCADA platforms)

· Strong understanding of industrial automation concepts

· Familiar with data communication protocols

· Exposure to system integration between shopfloor and IT systems

· Experience supporting testing activities (SIT/UAT)

· Willingness to learn MES and manufacturing processes

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

· Sense of responsibility and good communication skills

· Candidate able to work on Penang site (Bayan Lepas area).

C. Preferred Skills

· Preferably in the manufacturing electronics sector with experience in IT Manufacture domain

· Familiarity with OPC servers / industrial data connectivity

· Basic knowledge of SQL / database interaction

· Understanding of integration architecture between SCADA and MES

· Familiarity with Agile Methodology, Camstar MES, Wonderware InTouch, and AI knowledge is added advantage.
