System Development Engineer

This is a full-time role for a System Development Engineer based in Seri Kembangan, with flexibility based on work scope and project requirements.

This is a founding engineering role where you will have the opportunity to contribute to system design, technology development, and the evolution of future products and solutions.

Unlike highly specialized roles, this position offers exposure across software development, system integration, automation, and product development, providing a broad engineering foundation and significant growth opportunities.

The role involves designing, developing, integrating, testing, and improving monitoring and control systems used in environmental and industrial applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop practical solutions while continuously learning and exploring new technologies.

* Develop and maintain software applications and system functionality

* Contribute to system architecture and platform improvements

* Support future system expansion and enhancement initiatives

* Integrate software with hardware, sensors, and field devices

* Support monitoring, communication, and control functions

* Troubleshoot and optimize overall system performance

* Develop user-facing monitoring and management tools

* Support data collection, reporting, and operational visibility

* Participate in automation and control enhancement initiatives

* Participate in testing, commissioning, and deployment activities

* Support technical investigations and issue resolution

* Maintain technical documentation and system records

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related field

* Knowledge of software development and programming principles

* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to learn independently and adapt to evolving technologies

* Good communication and teamwork skills

Experience or exposure in any of the following areas is beneficial:
