System Security Engineer

Description

We are seeking a motivated System Security Engineer to join our team in Shah Alam. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our systems and networks, implementing security measures, and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security protocols and measures to protect systems and networks.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security breaches.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into systems.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and incident response plans.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology advancements.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in system security engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.
• Understanding of networking protocols and security features.
• Experience with security tools such as antivirus, anti-malware, and encryption technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
