Contract Associate, Actuarial – System Support
- Work Location: Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur
- Salary: Up to RM3,200
- Contract Duration: 15 months (Until August 2027)
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join a dynamic team supporting actuarial system processes within the life insurance domain. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in product implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system testing for life insurance product setups, enhancements, and system changes
- Validate product formulas and rate tables to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Conduct system verification and data checks against expected results
- Execute test cases, document findings, and investigate discrepancies
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders (Actuarial, Product, and IT teams) to resolve system issues
- Ensure timely completion of testing activities in line with project milestones
Requirements
- Degree in Actuarial Studies
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and perform well under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, responsible, and a strong team player
- Adaptable and willing to improve processes and workflows
