The Role

We are looking for a seasoned Systems Analyst to join a high-impact technology team on a 10-month contract based in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will drive end-to-end IT project delivery, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure that all initiatives are executed in line with governance, quality, and compliance standards within a large-scale financial services environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide support in the assessment and collation of requirements for IT projects, budgeting, and resource planning.

• Perform analysis and reporting on impacted systems and dependencies, collaborating with Group Technology teams to implement IT projects.

• Assist in reviewing IT service requests and Project Initiation Forms, and coordinate High-Level Solutions and High-Level Estimates for prioritisation.

• Carry out end-to-end project delivery — from scoping and planning through financial management, risk management, execution, deployment, and post-deployment stabilisation.

• Prepare, oversee, and perform systems tests including SIT, regression testing, and UAT throughout the SDLC in line with project timelines.

• Track and monitor the status of IT initiatives, projects, and incidents, and prepare timely reports for management, stakeholders, auditors, and regulators.

• Ensure all projects comply with established delivery methodologies, IT governance standards, regulatory requirements, and Business Continuity Planning frameworks.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in IT management, project delivery, process management, or business analysis within a service, vendor-based organisation, or bank/financial institution.

• Solid knowledge of Project Management Life Cycle, multiple SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and associated tools.

• Familiarity with IT Demand Management practices, IT governance, and ITIL frameworks.

• Hands-on experience in programming and experience implementing multiple IT projects in complex, dynamic environments.

• Experience with financial/transaction reconciliation systems and working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary regional environment is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, communication, and the ability to work independently in a task-driven manner.
