Job Description

Talent Acquisition Manager Southeast Asia MYR 15,000 - Johor Bahru

Charterhouse, Singapore are leading the search for a Talent Acquisition Leader for a fortune 500 US MNC based in Johor Bahru and supporting hiring needs across SEA.

This role will be high volume recruitment including blue collar workers and will need a highly strategic, yet hands on lead who can manage the regional TA team.

They are looking for a proven, high caliber individual who can liaise and communicate effectively at all levels and is results driven.

They will need to devise talent attraction strategies to attract the top talent in the market with a focus on delivering an excellent candidate experience and possess superb stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals for SEA.
  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders to forecast hiring needs and workforce planning.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment for all SEA countries, ensuring timely and quality hires.
  • Drive process consistency, compliance, and data integrity across systems (Workday, Avature).
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters to achieve performance targets.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across markets.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing market insights and talent solutions.
  • Manage agency relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize cost and quality.
  • Champion employer branding initiatives and campus engagement programs to strengthen talent pipelines.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment KPIs, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and diversity metrics.
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement.

Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing regional recruitment across multiple countries.
  • Strong knowledge of SEA talent markets and recruitment best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in recruitment systems (Workday, Avature) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment.
