Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Currie & Brown are looking for an In-house Recruiter to support the APAC Region recruitment function, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role offers a remote working structure.

The ideal candidate will have managed full-cycle in-house recruitment for a cost / project management consultancy within the construction industry in APAC. This role will require to you to run bulk and targeted recruitment campaigns that align with our current project requirements from end to end, as well as managing ad hoc requirements across our offices in Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and others as required. You will be responsible for managing our PSL agencies on a daily basis and monitoring which roles we are approved to go to market with. You will build relationships across the business and be the champion of our ATS across the APAC region.

To be considered for the role you should be highly experienced in head hunting, stakeholder management, sourcing, selecting, negotiating and recruiting outstanding technical candidates.

Responsibilities:

To remain compliant at all times with our internal recruitment policy and procedures

Prioritizing and understanding recruitment needs for the APAC Region

Liaising with hiring managers, understanding their technical requirements to successfully find the right people and developing key stakeholder relationships

Partnering with hiring manager's and seeking appropriate levels of approval from senior management throughout the recruitment process

Responsible for evaluating skill levels and sourcing appropriate candidates through direct approaches, internal database searches, staff referrals, job postings, social media networking.

Preparing recruitment statistics to be presented to the group head of recruitment

Managing candidate progress and liaising direct with candidate to provide relevant feedback and updates

Essential Requirements:

Must have at least 5 years of either agency or inhouse recruitment experience within the construction, building, engineering or heavy industry sectors

You must have demonstrated experience running volume recruitment campaigns and working to external submission deadlines

You will be degree qualified in a relevant business or HR discipline

You will have extensive use of the Microsoft Office suite

You will have extensive use of recruitment/talent software platforms/HRIS systems (Ideally Eploy)
