What does a Talent Acquisition Partner, APAC do at WPP Production

As an expert in the industry, your role will be to work on key vacancies and design innovative ways of attracting and retaining the best people

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with a high volume of roles, you will source and acquire talent at all levels, recruiting correctly skilled staff for a variety of roles across the agency
  • Representing our brand and being the first point of contact and interviewer for all candidates; shortlisting and recommending candidates for second stage interview with Line Managers
  • Building good relationships across the WPP Production business, especially with senior management, consulting them where necessary use your recruitment expertise
  • Enhancing and developing our Employer Brand
  • Keeping up to date with industry news
  • Organising and collating job role information and candidate interview notes in a clear and concise manner
  • Building and maintaining relationships with a network of talented people and potential candidates for the future is key - there's always a potential if someone is great, we will have a role for them in the future.
  • Managing offers to candidates and working closely with the HR department to coordinate contracts and start dates (including successfully negotiating candidate remuneration)
  • A history of championing candidate experience and making sure candidates receive a positive candidate experience

Requirements

  • Min 5 years of talent acquisition experience, strong knowledge and expertise in Advertising/Media Recruitment across all disciplines is preferred
  • Adept interviewer, preferably experienced at competency-based interviewing
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – demonstrable evidence that they can build relationships at all levels of the business, be trusted and known to always act with integrity
  • Organised – structured in approach so that the recruitment process is recorded effectively and candidates are impressed by the process as well as those recruiting
  • Strong emphasis on building a direct candidate pool
  • Ability to manage a high volume of change and deal with ambiguity
  • Sense of urgency, can do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Gravitas – to be able to gain respect and be sought out by stakeholders for advice
  • Experience dealing with senior management
  • Highly driven and focused with high energy levels
  • Works well under pressure
