HCLTech Malaysia is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Early Careers / Emerging Talent. The incumbent will design and execute campus recruitment and early talent strategies. This role plays a critical part in building strong academic partnerships, championing employer brand, and ensuring seamless collaboration across HR and business stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement campus recruitment strategies aligned with business and workforce needs.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for graduate programmes and entry-level roles, with a strong focus on technology hiring.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, career centres, and student organisations to enhance employer brand presence.
- Plan and execute high-impact recruitment events, including campus activations, Interview Superdays, career fairs, and information sessions.
- Design and deliver engaging recruitment campaigns that create a compelling candidate experience from attraction through offer.
- Create and update job descriptions and specifications for early-career roles.
- Post roles across job boards, social media, campus platforms, and internal systems.
- Source and engage candidates through campus networks, ATS databases, referrals, and social media.
- Screen applications, conduct interviews, assess candidates skills and potential, and manage interview coordination.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for candidates, ensuring timely communication and a positive candidate journey.
- Monitor recruitment metrics, analyse data, and provide insights and reports to stakeholders.
- Contribute to strategic projects in employer branding, social media strategy, recruitment analytics, and programme development.
- Stay current on campus recruitment trends and best practices to continuously improve hiring strategies.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business
- At least 5 years focused on campus or early-career hiring.
- Proven track record of designing and executing campus recruitment programmes and large-scale hiring events.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across multiple teams and time zones.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems SAP SuccessFactors.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build long-term relationships with candidates and academic partners.
- Data-driven mindset, with experience using recruitment metrics to influence hiring decisions.
- Tech-savvy, adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn new tools and recruitment approaches.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, high-growth environment.
