Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment across multiple countries within the region, ensuring the attraction, assessment, and hiring of top talent to support business growth. Working closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR teams, this role delivers effective talent acquisition strategies aligned with workforce plans while providing a seamless and positive candidate experience. The specialist leverages market intelligence, develops proactive sourcing initiatives, manages recruitment processes, and supports employer branding efforts to build strong talent pipelines that meet both current and future organizational needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers across the region to understand workforce requirements and provide recruitment advice.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and talent pipelines.
  • Ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and source effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Drive employer branding and talent attraction initiatives to strengthen the organization's market presence.
  • Maintain compliance with local employment laws, company policies, and recruitment best practices across different countries.
  • Collaborate with HR Managers and regional stakeholders on workforce planning, diversity hiring, and talent management initiatives.
  • Support vendor management activities, including recruitment agencies and external sourcing partners where applicable.
  • Stay informed on labour market trends, talent availability, and competitive hiring practices within the region.
  • Contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in talent acquisition and recruiting for key positions in manufacturing industry, preferably in a corporate TA or shared services environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Solid hands-on experience in sourcing techniques (Boolean search) and tools (eg. LinkedIn)
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing methodologies, and employment regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interviewing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and recruit across diverse functions in Asia
  • Ability to travel regionally as required.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin proficiency is an advantage to support communications with regional candidates.

  • Reduced time-to-fill and improved quality-of-hire.
  • Positive hiring manager and candidate satisfaction scores/ review
  • Strong talent pipelines for critical and future roles.
  • Compliance with recruitment governance and regional employment requirements.
