About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist with strong Japanese language skills to support our recruitment operations across Malaysia, Japan, and regional markets. You will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This role requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Utilize Japanese language skills to communicate with Japanese-speaking candidates, hiring managers, and regional team members.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies through job portals, social media, referrals, and networking.
- Review resumes, conduct phone/virtual screenings, and assess candidate suitability based on job requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with internal stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Provide timely updates and maintain strong communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ensure data accuracy.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future hiring needs.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment-related events.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and local employment regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR, preferably in a regional or multinational environment.
- Proficiency in Japanese language (JLPT N2 or above preferred) and strong command of English
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools, ATS, and sourcing platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple roles simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
