About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and results‑driven Recruiter to lead hiring activities for our Penang site. This contract role will partner closely with hiring managers, HR, and candidates to deliver high‑quality talent acquisition outcomes. The ideal candidate is resourceful, persuasive, and thrives in a fast‑paced semiconductor environment — with a strong grasp of engineering R&D, EDA, and semiconductor talent markets.

Key Responsibilities

Full‑Cycle Recruiting

  • Own requisitions from intake to offer acceptance.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and candidate profiles, especially for engineering R&D and semiconductor functions.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates across technical and non‑technical roles.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and ensure timely progression through the process.

Candidate Experience

  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates.
  • Deliver a professional, transparent, and engaging experience throughout the hiring journey.
  • Guide candidates through interviews, feedback, and offer stages.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and HR partners.
  • Provide market insights on engineering and semiconductor talent availability.
  • Advise managers on hiring best practices and interview techniques.

ATS & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate data in Workday or other ATS platforms.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics (pipeline health, time‑to‑fill, SLA adherence).
  • Ensure compliance with local HR and regulatory requirements.

Employer Branding & Outreach

  • Support campus hiring events and local branding initiatives.
  • Partner with external agencies or vendors when needed.
  • Promote the company as an employer of choice in the semiconductor industry.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in full‑cycle recruiting.
  • Proven success hiring in engineering R&D, EDA, or semiconductor environments.
  • Strong sourcing skills across multiple channels (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Workday or any ATS is a strong plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities independently.
