Job Description
The Talent Acquisition role is responsible for managing and executing end-to-end recruitment activities to attract, assess, and hire qualified talent in line with the organization's manpower requirements and business objectives. The role will work closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand workforce needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Important Note: This role can be based in Bangi or Penang office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job requisition, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements, job specifications, competency requirements, and hiring priorities.
- Develop and implement effective candidate sourcing strategies through JobStreet, LinkedIn, recruitment agencies, employee referrals, career fairs, social media, and other relevant channels.
- Review and screen resumes and applications against job requirements and organizational hiring criteria.
- Conduct phone, virtual, and face-to-face interviews and provide candidate assessments and recommendations to hiring managers.
- Coordinate interview schedules and ensure timely communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Manage recruitment agencies and external recruitment partners, including sourcing requests, candidate submissions, performance monitoring, and fee negotiations where applicable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate trackers, interview evaluations, and recruitment reports.
- Monitor recruitment progress, including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline, offer acceptance rate, recruitment source effectiveness, and other relevant Talent Acquisition KPIs.
- Manage the preparation and issuance of employment offers in coordination with HR and relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct reference checks, pre-employment screening, and other required recruitment processes.
- Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for successful candidates.
- Support employer branding initiatives, recruitment campaigns, career fairs, and other talent attraction activities.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future manpower requirements.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies, employment regulations, and internal approval processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of candidate and employee information.
- Support HR projects, process improvements, and other recruitment-related initiatives as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or HR, preferably within a manufacturing, engineering, semiconductor, or multinational organization.
- Proven experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing through offer and onboarding.
- Strong sourcing and candidate assessment skills with the ability to identify suitable talent for various levels and functions.
- Experience using recruitment platforms such as JobStreet, LinkedIn, recruitment portals, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, interviewing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with hiring managers, candidates, recruitment agencies, and external partners.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to prepare recruitment reports and monitor Talent Acquisition KPIs.
- Experience with HRIS/ATS systems such as Workday or similar systems will be an added advantage.
- Mature, proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
