A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist/Senior, APAC, you will take charge of overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle for Malaysia, with occasional sourcing and recruitment support across North Asia, including South Korea and Japan.
The ideal candidate will have experience hiring across all organizational levels from entry-level roles to executive leadership positions and possess language capabilities to effectively support North Asia markets.
In this role, you will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Developing and executing strategic recruitment plans to fulfill organizational staffing needs in Malaysia, with periodic support to North Asia (South Korea and Japan).
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Providing sourcing support for North Asia markets, partnering with local stakeholders to identify and engage qualified talent.
- Collaborating with hiring managers to understand talent requirements and provide consultative guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Conducting recruitment activities across all levels, including executive leadership, mid-level management, and entry-level roles.
- Managing manpower outsourcing vendors and overseeing mass hiring activities for new projects.
- Strengthening partnerships with local higher educational institutions and polytechnics.
- Attending campus recruitment events and organizing relevant STEM-related workshops or career initiatives across Peninsula Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak.
- Driving employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, continuously improving recruitment processes and strategies.
- Acting as a brand ambassador for MKS Instruments, promoting our culture and values to potential candidates across the region.
Skills You Bring: (Required Skills)
- Tertiary education in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of international recruiting experience, with exposure to hiring across multiple organizational levels.
- Experience in supporting multi-country recruitment within APAC is preferred.
- Language proficiency in Korean and/or Japanese is highly desirable to effectively support sourcing activities in South Korea and Japan.
- Experience in campus recruitment is preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is advantageous.
- Agency recruitment or RPO experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of employer branding strategies, with a passion for leveraging technology and innovative sourcing approaches.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
- Proven success in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment.
