Outsized is a marketplace connecting professional freelancers/ independent consultants with top-tier consulting firms & financial institutions, across Asia & Africa. We have offices in Australia, Cape Town, Mumbai, Delhi, Malaysia and Singapore. We are passionate about building a fair market that works well and adds value for both sides.

Our expansion into ANZ in 2024 has been hugely successful and exceeded expectations, we are therefore accelerating some critical hiring and are looking to bring in new team members based in Malaysia to support this growth.

What you can expect:

Talent Engagement

  • Manage the end-to-end process from matching, pre-screening, report writing, interviews coordinating to contracting (supported by an Ops Admin)
  • Innovate on strategies for engaging and onboarding high-quality talent

Talent Build Up

  • Lead initiatives to drive up on-platform matching, reducing the need for heavy-duty external matching
  • Support the building of talent pools & virtual benches to share with strategic clients

Personal/Professional Development

  • Collaborate directly with seasoned business leaders to develop and expand the fast-growing business
  • Gain comprehensive insight into the workings of a successful startup and contribute to various areas, including operations, marketing, public relations, finance, data, etc.
  • Eventually lead a small team, managing a team of 1-3 direct reports

Ideal candidates are/possess the following:

  • Thrives in a start-up environment (adaptable, resourceful, tenacious, etc.)
  • Passionate about the future of work, disruptive talent models, and deliver an amazing experience for independent talent
  • Excellent command of English (both written & verbal)
  • Strong stakeholder and project management skills
  • Proven experience or sincere interest in developing a high-performing team
  • Preferably with experience recruiting high-caliber candidates, in terms of industry & seniority (strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity & high-growth start-ups; Director level to CXOs)
