POSITION SUMMARY
This position is leading China -Tax computation team in KL.
The incumbent is responsible to verify and approve comprehensive tax calculation for China entities,
including monthly, quarterly, and annual tax calculations, and related tax and governmental tax reporting.
The incumbent need to work closely with Tax reporting team in China to fulfill the tax filing in timely and
accuracy manner.
During the transition period, the incumbent is responsible to lead the team to achieve a smooth transition
and handover the knowledge, assume the roles and responsibilities.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
This position is accountable for the following end results:
1) Be responsible on tax calculation for Tax Compliance
Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual tax calculations for all China entities
Support for applications (e.g., withholding tax, import/export VAT) or coordinate with Field Finance/local tax
firms for bureau submission where required.
Work closely with Tax Reporting team in China to ensure the tax filing is completed timely and accurately.
2) Support local tax and government audits and providing the required information, working closely with Tax
Reporting team and Corp Tax team to follow the tax audits and requests.
3) VAT/WHT Reconciliations & Account Control
Review VAT reconciliations (WD+2/3) across entities; investigate variances and drive clearance of issues.
Review Cadency reconciliations for VAT and WHT accounts; monitor and resolve open items with
stakeholders
4) Statistics Reporting Preparation
Lead the team to prepare statistics reporting by assembling and loading SAP/HR/taxpayment data into BPC
and ensuring readiness for downstream submissions.
5) Incentives & JV Governance Support
Support for incentives and subsidies application by providing forecast
Support JV GM in preparing financial reports to JV partners; coordinate partner requests and participate in
BOD meetings where applicable.
6) Maintain China Fixed Assets Local Tax Book
Verify and ensure China Fixed assets local tax book is compliance with the applicable tax requirements and
AP's practice, ensure the reconciliation is conducted regularly.
7) Others
During the transition period, During the transition period, this incumbent is responsible to monitor the transition
project progress, build up the team , assign the duties and responsibilities, coordinate for knowledge
transferring, trainings, documents handover, including working and coordinating with related stakeholders to
achieve the smooth transition

V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
The incumbent should have vision, strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational ability.
Education & Credentials
Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation or a related discipline (required).
Experience
Minimum 8 years experience in taxation-tax reporting and tax calculation with minimal 5 years managerial
experience
Experience coordinating with local tax bureaus is an advantage, working in outsourcing services in Taxation is a
plus.
Prior involvement in organizational transitions would contribute positively to the responsibilities of this position.
The incumbent should have good command on software skills including Microsoft office ( Excel, Word, Powerpoint,
etc.); SAP or other ERP system.
