Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for Tax Advisory Managers/Directors, based in Kuala Lumpur. Responsibilities include providing expert tax advisory services, developing tax strategies, ensuring compliance with global and local tax regulations, and identifying opportunities for tax efficiency and optimization. You will manage client relationships, lead tax-related projects, and mentor team members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Collaboration with internal and global teams to serve a diverse mix of clients will be crucial to this role's success.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of Tax Advisory, Tax Planning, and Tax Compliance
- Strong leadership, time management, and project management skills
- Proven client relationship management and communication expertise
- Ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and provide practical tax solutions
- Experience in managing teams and mentoring junior staff
- Proficiency in current tax laws and regulations in Malaysia, with awareness of global taxation practices
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desired
- Previous experience in tax advisory or related fields, preferably within professional services firms
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
