Role Summary

The Tax Analyst supports the tax function, focusing on tax compliance, reporting, documentation, and operational execution. The role works closely with Senior Tax Managers in areas such as regional tax compliance, transfer pricing, and tax incentives. This role supports a centralised tax function by providing accurate data, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of corporate income tax, indirect tax (GST/VAT/SST), and withholding tax filings across jurisdictions and ensure timely submission.
  • Prepare tax schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for filings and tax provisions
  • Support transfer pricing documentation (Local File, Master File) and intercompany data reconciliation
  • Assist with CbCR and BEPS Pillar Two data collection and analysis
  • Track tax incentives and maintain documentation supporting compliance with incentive conditions
  • Prepare documentation and data requests for tax audits and authority queries
  • Maintain structured, audit-ready documentation repositories
  • Support data management, process improvement, and standardisation initiatives across tax processes

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in tax compliance, preferably in an MNC or Big 4 environment
  • Exposure to APAC tax environments or transfer pricing is an advantage

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of direct and indirect tax compliance fundamentals
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
