Key responsibilities in your new role
- Preparation of Singapore quarterly Goods and Services Tax (GST)returns.
- Review of German and Portugal annual and monthly VAT returns.
- Provide support on Assisted Compliance Assurance (ACAP) program and/or other programs.
- Prepare GST supplies to revenue reconciliations.
- Provide support on indirect tax projects.
- Assist to prepare advisory materials on GST implications and applicable treatment on business transactions.
- Support any Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) GST audits/investigations and IRAS queries.
- Assist in preparation to seek GST rulings from IRAS.
- Support on BEPS Pillar 2 registrations and filings.
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- A diploma or degree in Accountancy/Taxation/Business related discipline or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3-5 years of GST, tax and/or accounting work experience in handling Singapore direct and indirect tax matters in either public accounting firms or MNC.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, use own initiative, and work under pressure to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in SAP accounting system is preferred.
- Automation experience is a benefit.
