Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in accordance with Thailand tax laws (e.g., VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax) by the established deadlines, preferably without need for revision
  • Ensure timely submission of tax filings and payments to local authorities.
  • Use comprehensive tax knowledge to maximize benefits and deductions
  • Maintain compliance with both direct and indirect tax regulations.
  • Maintain complete and accurate tax records for internal and external audits.
  • Prepare and issue tax certificates as required by Thailand regulations.
  • Ensure all tax invoices are received and properly gathered from vendors.
  • Check that tax invoices comply with Thailand regulatory requirements.
  • Provide supporting documentation for statutory audits and tax authority inquiries.
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Finance teams to ensure tax accuracy.
  • Monitor changes in Thailand tax regulations and assess impact on business processes.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance tax compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting only
  • Strong accounting knowledge
  • Can work with the level of details, well planned and organized with keen attention
  • Native or business level Thai, with strong command of written and spoken English
  • Good analytical, logical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with domestic and overseas colleagues, and external parties.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
