Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Associate based in Ipoh Branch. The Tax Associate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax filings, ensuring tax compliance, and researching tax regulations and laws. Key duties include developing strategies to optimize tax positions, providing tax-related advice, assisting with financial planning, and compiling necessary documentation for audits or client purposes. The role also involves working collaboratively with internal teams to meet reporting deadlines and ensure compliance with relevant tax policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and Tax laws
• Understanding of financial and tax regulations and principles for effective tax strategies
• Proficiency in Finance with a solid foundation in accounting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related fields
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage
• Proven experience in tax or accounting roles is highly preferred
