A Malaysia-based financial services group, leading in the market for their financial products and has established a strong branding and presence in its industry.

Your new role

You will be in charge of leading a team of 3 people for all Tax Compliance and Advisory work for SEA.

• Manage all compliance deadlines, reviews and work with tax agents to meet submissions.
• Tax Reporting on deferred tax, tax expenses, and tax provisioning on a monthly basis
• Group Tax Planning and Advisory to various BUs in the group to optimise tax efficiencies and identify new tax regulations in the market to adhere to

What you'll need to succeed

• > 6-8 years in a Tax Function servicing Financial Service Clients at Big, or a top 10 firm and/or experience leading a tax team in a Financial Service Tax Function
  
• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance and Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTIM)
  
• Leadership experience in dealing with senior stakeholders and being a key driver in business projects and business decisions
