Job Description
- Manage and monitor credit control activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Oversee the assessment and approval of credit applications to minimise financial risk.
- Review and analyse customer accounts for overdue payments and implement collection strategies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on credit and collection performance to management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing disputes and improve payment processes.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and accurate financial records.
- Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance to achieve departmental goals.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Team Leader, Credit Control & Collections should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of credit management and control processes in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
