About the role
Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead for their Islamic Business Finance under Group Finance division. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of finance professionals in providing strategic and operational support to the bank's Islamic banking business. This is a full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur.
What you'll be doing
- Manage a team of finance professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial reporting and analysis to support the Islamic banking business
- Provide guidance and oversight to the team in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Collaborate with various departments to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives related to the Islamic banking business
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and support their career growth
What we're looking for
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
- Good understanding of Islamic banking principles and regulations will be added advantage
- Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in the use of financial analysis tools and software
