Role Summary
The Team Leader, Business Development Manager (PLM) – Mobile is responsible for driving business growth, and sales performance. This role leads a team to execute strategies that enhance product penetration, customer acquisition, and revenue growth while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Strategy
- Develop and execute business strategies to grow the mobile portfolio and achieve revenue targets
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine strategies
- Sales & Performance Management
- Lead and drive team sales performance to meet and exceed targets
- Monitor KPIs such as acquisition, conversion, and revenue growth
- Implement sales initiatives, campaigns, and incentive programs to boost productivity
- Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Managers
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and daily/weekly huddles
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and results-driven culture
- Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and vendors
- Work closely with marketing, product, operations, and IT teams to align business objectives
- Act as a key point of contact for escalations and strategic discussions
- Reporting & Governance
- Track and report business performance, pipeline, and sales activities
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational processes
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or product management (preferably in SME)
- Proven experience in team leadership and achieving sales targets
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
