Description
We are hiring a Team Leader, Global HR Support to join our APAC HR Shared Services function, where you'll play a critical role in leading payroll and HR support operations across multiple countries. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with HR, Finance, Global Payroll, Global Mobility teams, and external vendors, while overseeing end‑to‑end payroll delivery, compliance, and service excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in HR Services or Payroll, preferably in a shared services or multinational environment
- Proven experience managing APAC payroll operations across multiple countries
- Strong understanding of statutory and compliance requirements in APAC markets (e.g., Malaysia, India, Singapore, China, Australia, Japan, Korea)
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, ADP, ServiceNow)
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching and developing team members
- High accuracy, strong attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience managing external payroll vendors and shared services operations
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing metrics and SLA governance
- Exposure to global payroll optimization or transformation initiatives
- Strong data analysis skills using Excel or reporting tools
- Experience supporting payroll audits and compliance reviews
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Solid business acumen and change management capability
What you will be doing:
- Lead end‑to‑end APAC payroll and HR support operations as the subject matter expert
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery across multiple countries
- Monitor daily payroll operations and adherence to SLAs, including payroll cut‑offs, payment dates, and statutory submissions
- Manage and collaborate with payroll vendors to ensure timely salary and statutory payments
- Serve as the key point of contact for payroll‑related audits and compliance activities
- Partner with Global Mobility teams to support expatriate payroll processing
- Handle and resolve payroll, statutory, and HR operations queries
- Develop, maintain, and standardize SOPs for HR Shared Services
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization across payroll processes
- Leverage data and reporting to support performance tracking and decision‑making
- Manage and monitor HR operations costs
- Lead, coach, and develop HR Support team members, including training and capability building
- Participate in global HR operations initiatives and ad‑hoc projects
