Job Summary
The Team Member, Investors Advisory at RHB Bank Berhad plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive and personalized investment advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients. This role involves developing and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying investment opportunities, and providing tailored solutions to meet financial goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide expert and personalized investment advice to clients, including but not limited to wealth management, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and market insights.
- Proactively engage with existing clients to review their portfolios, understand evolving financial needs, and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling RHB Bank's investment products and services.
- Identify and acquire new high-net-worth clients and corporate accounts, expanding the bank's client base and assets under management.
- Conduct thorough financial needs analysis for clients, assessing their risk tolerance, investment objectives, and time horizons to develop suitable investment strategies.
- Prepare and present tailored investment proposals, market updates, and portfolio performance reports to clients in a clear and compelling manner.
- Stay abreast of global and local financial market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and anticipate client needs.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including product specialists, research teams, and wealth planners, to deliver integrated financial solutions.
- Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., BNM, SC) in all client interactions and transactions.
- Act as a mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing best practices and contributing to their professional development.
- Participate in client seminars, workshops, and marketing initiatives to promote RHB Bank's investment advisory capabilities.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in investment advisory, wealth management, or a related client-facing role within the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on high-net-worth clients.
- Strong understanding of various investment products, including equities, fixed income, unit trusts, structured products, and alternative investments.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to acting in the best interests of clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
- Possession of relevant licenses and certifications as required by Malaysian financial regulations (e.g., CMSRL for dealing in securities/fund management).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with financial software/platforms.
