About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Team Member, Reconciliations, Controls & Projects to join our team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate reconciliation of fund bank accounts, supporting audit and compliance requirements, and contributing to the execution of projects and initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams, regulators, trustees, and external service providers to uphold strong governance, controls, and operational excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
- Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations for all funds bank accounts
- Act as a key liaison point for internal, regulatory, and fund audits
- Liaise with Trustees, Shariah Advisors, and Tax Agents to support audit, compliance, and reporting requirements
- Ensure risk and compliance assessments are completed accurately and within stipulated timelines
- Support and monitor projects and initiatives, ensuring deliverables are completed according to agreed schedules
- Maintain proper documentation and controls to support audit trails and governance standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve reconciliation differences and operational issues efficiently
- Uphold the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of financial and operational data
What We're Looking For
- Background in accounting, finance, fund administration, or a related discipline
- Experience in bank reconciliations, controls, or audit support will be an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good planning, organizational, and time management abilities
- Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Committed, responsible, and able to work within deadlines in a regulated environment
