Job Description

We are looking for a high-energy, versatile Tech Operator & Support specialist to join our team. This isn't your typical sit-behind-a-desk IT job. As a junior member of our tech department, you will be the glue that holds our digital projects togetherfrom tweaking code on our various systems & platforms to ensuring our tech is flawless during local & international expos.

Job Scope

1. System Operation, Maintenance & Light Dev Work

Operate and maintain existing website systems to ensure peak performance.

Perform simple coding tasks to update content and features on platforms built primarily on PHP and Next.js.

2. Digital Project Support

Act as an all-around assistant to project leads to ensure digital initiatives are delivered successfully and on time.

Manage, source & coordinate content updates, which also include handle precise data input across various internal systems.

3. Internal & Event Tech Support

Provide day-to-day technical troubleshooting for all internal teams.

Lead on-site tech support at company organised expos and events. This includes equipment setup, network troubleshooting, and ensuring live systems run perfectly.

4. Documentation & Analytics

Build and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation for all internal systems and workflows.

Create reports and pull data based on management requests, turning raw data into actionable information.

Qualifications

Technical Foundation: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

The Bonus Stack: Proficiency in MongoDB, Node.js & ETL is a huge plus. If you don't know it, you must be hungry to learn it.

Mobility: Willing and able to travel to other states or countries to support our events and exhibitions when required.

Resourcefulness: A work smart attitude. You know how to use AI, Google, documentation, and logic to find solutions to problems you haven't seen before.

Resilience: Comfortable stepping outside your comfort zone and taking on new challenges with a positive attitude.

Knowledge of the exhibitions or events industry is a plus.
