Job Description

*JOB PURPOSE*

Business Analyst plays a role as liaison between Business Users and vendors mainly to manage the Service Request raised by Business Users, and to support queries raised by users on the system related functionalities. Business Analyst for Project Support will be liaison between IT-PM, Application team and vendors to provide project administrative support for miscellaneous projects under ABB and AIBB that requires TAS involvement (i.e. project discussion, UAT preparation that requires parameter maintenance, etc.).

*ACCOUNTABILITIES*

Business Analysis

Working closely with application support team to analyse the existing business functions and identify any potential system gap.

Planning, coordinating and executing Service Request (SR) submitted by Business units effectively and efficiently in order to meet Business goals.

Planning and coordinating UAT timeline for SR.

Ensuring SR implementation timeline meets its deadline (identifying the milestone and phases).

Tracking SR progress update and ensuring the documentation is in order.

*Stakeholders Engagement*

Understanding requirements from Business Users for new initiatives or system enhancements (Service Request) raised by Business Users and coordinating the requirement clarification sessions between the vendor(s) and Business if required.

Working closely with the vendor within the stipulated timeline in order to ensure the deliverables to be implemented as planned.

Supporting other units within Technology during deployment activities (engaging Business on the User Access Matrix and User Parameter verification activities).

*Process Management*

Ensuring any Service Request (SR) implementation must comply with the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) process.

Working together with vendors, Application Support and Test team during pre-UAT preparation in order to ensure the readiness of testing environment for users to commence UAT.

Assisting users for issues raised during testing.

Ensuring SR documentation i.e. SR document, vendor's quotation, approval's paper, UAT sign-off is completed.

*Governance*

Assisting Application team in monitoring and supporting post deployment (for any problem logs raised by Business users arising system enhancement).

Attending to queries raised by internal users (i.e. business, risk, finance team) and providing solution (if necessary) on the system related issues.

Ensuring system enhancement (SR) adheres to the regulatory requirements.

Ensuring system enhancement (SR) adheres to the SR manuals.

*Project Support*

Working closely with application support team to analyse the existing business functions and identify any potential system gap arising from a project.

Working closely with project team for identifying and resolving concerns; taking responsibility for timely delivery as scheduled.

Acted as liaison between the project team and assigned application personnel for project-related communications and tasks.

Excellent organizational and time management skills. Able to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to demands and priorities.
