Its an incredibly exciting time to join the Hilti Digital Platforms team! We are redesigning the future of digital at Hilti and are looking for team members to play an integral part in our digital transformation journey. As a Technical Architect, you will work in a global, multi-cultural, collaborative, fun and agile work environment. You will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of our customer facing platforms.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE
As a technical architect, your main role is to translate business needs to technical solutions. You overseecreating secure, efficient, and scalable software architecture. Your daily activities include solution design,proof of concept activities, cost/benefit documentation, staff training, configuration recommendations,contract and service level requirements. You interact with business unit management, applicationssystems management, technology management, vendors and industry experts to collect requirements,understand options, and determine solutions. As a technology expert, you stay close to the codebase,help the developers implement your design, put a high standard on quality, manage the technical debt.

WHAT YOU NEED IS
Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field, required
strong problem-solving skills
Minimum seven years experience with various technologies, system integration, and software architecture
Masterful experience in architecture and implementation of microservice based applications
Expert knowledge in implementation of cloud-based solutions and hosting in the cloud like AWS
Expert knowledge in API design and development using API gateway
Excellent communication skills in English, an agile mindset
