Financial Perspective
- Contribute to cost-effective project delivery by ensuring system and integration requirements are clearly defined, complete, and agreed upfront, reducing rework and change requests.
- Identify integration risks early, particularly involving core banking systems, to minimise downstream defects, delays, and remediation costs.
- Support efficient vendor delivery by providing clear requirements and timely clarifications, helping to control development and integration costs.
- Reduce post-implementation support and operational costs by ensuring integration logic, error handling, and reconciliation requirements are properly addressed.
Customer Perspective
- Ensure system and integration requirements support accurate, reliable, and timely customer journeys, particularly for onboarding and origination processes.
- Validate that integrations with core banking systems correctly reflect customer data, account status, and transaction outcomes to avoid customer impact.
- Support stable and consistent system behaviour across channels by validating end-to-end integration flows.
- Minimise customer-facing incidents by identifying and addressing integration issues early through sanity testing and validation.
Environment & Community Perspective
- Ensure system and integration designs comply with regulatory, data privacy, and information security requirements.
- Promote sustainable and maintainable technology solutions through clear documentation, standardised interfaces, and controlled integration approaches.
