About the Role

Clover Business Services is a boutique ERP and AI consultancy delivering Oracle NetSuite implementations and AI-powered automation for mid-market F&B, retail, and other clients. We are looking for a Technical Consultant who can bridge deep technical problem-solving with clear, confident communication across both internal teams and external stakeholders. This role combines hands-on diagnostic work, solution design, and client-facing technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•    Diagnose the root cause of issues in programs, scripts, and integrations, and explain the underlying logic in plain language to non-technical stakeholders.

•    Design and propose new ways of working that are efficient and cost-effective for customers — evaluating multiple tools and approaches rather than defaulting to a single solution, always in service of the customer's end goal.

•    Lead technical conversations with external parties (clients, vendors, partners) on API integrations, ERP connectivity, and security protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and two-factor authentication (2FA).

•    Act as a technical point of contact across project teams, translating complex concepts clearly for non-technical colleagues and clients.

•    Guide and mentor junior team members, having previously led a team in a technical delivery capacity.

•    Contribute to solution architecture, scripting, and development work, including front-end components where required.

•    Support project delivery end-to-end — from discovery and requirements gathering through to implementation and post-go-live support.

Requirements

•    Minimum a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent).

•    At least 4 years of relevant working experience, including prior experience leading a team.

•    Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and React.

•    Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in programs, scripts, or system integrations.

•    Solid understanding of API integration, ERP connectivity, and security protocols (OAuth 2.0, 2FA, and related standards).

•    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

•    Confident leading discussions with external parties on technical matters.

•    A consultative mindset — comfortable proposing and justifying solutions based on customer objectives rather than a fixed toolset.

Nice to Have

•    Experience with ERP platforms (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, or similar).

•    Exposure to automation tools and workflows (e.g. n8n, RPA, or AI-driven integrations).

•    Prior experience in a client-facing consulting environment.
