Are you a skilled SAP professional seeking a challenging contract assignment in Malaysia We are looking for a Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ABAP development and hands-on experience in integrating SAP systems with external middleware platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work on end-to-end technical build and integration projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
- Translate functional specifications into efficient technical solutions and ensure compliance with SAP best practices.
- Design, build, and support integrations using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and other middleware platforms like APIM, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
- Create integration flows, mappings, error handling mechanisms, and monitor performance.
- Troubleshoot technical and integration issues across SAP and third-party systems.
- Participate in workshops, design sessions, and provide technical input on architecture and integration approaches.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and technical teams to ensure seamless integration with SAP modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, etc.).
- Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT, regression, and cutover) and provide post-deployment support and documentation.
Requirements:
- 510 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong understanding of RICEF objects, OData services, enhancements, and interface development.
- Hands-on experience with SAP CPI (iFlows, mappings, adapters, monitoring).
- Familiarity with integration platforms such as APIM, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs, Proxy interfaces, and security protocols (OAuth, SAML, certificates).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
