We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile Tech Delivery Manager / Scrum Master to lead digital transformation initiatives in Kuala Lumpur. This role requires a client-centric, data-driven approach to delivering business capabilities through digital journeys. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that solutions are not only technically sound but also align perfectly with business requirements and regulatory standards.
Project Details
- Location: Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia.
- Target Profile:Local Malaysian (Citizen) only.
- Methodology: Expert knowledge of Agile (Scrum), Waterfall, and SDLC.
- Primary Framework: New Way of Working (nWoW).
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery & Agile Management
- Scrum Leadership: Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Team Demos, and Retrospectives.
- Backlog Management: Create and maintain a prioritized Product Backlog; clearly communicate sprint goals and acceptance criteria to the team.
- Requirement Engineering: Define user stories and the Definition of Done to ensure clear communication of requirements.
- Reporting: Administer and provide timely updates on project progress, risks, timelines, and resource plans to governance forums (e.g., Refinement Forum, Steering Co, MPR, QPR).
2. Business Analysis & Process Optimization
- Process Improvement: Evaluate business processes, uncover areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a key link between stakeholders and users, gathering critical information to produce actionable reports.
- Testing Oversight: Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), review test cases, and ensure adequate test coverage.
3. Risk, Governance & Compliance
- Risk Management: Coordinate, escalate, and report on key risks using bank tools (Clarity, PlanView, ADO); ensure timely mitigations.
- Standards Adherence: Ensure all project artifacts follow the Bank's nWoW standards and governance processes.
- Ethical Conduct: Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics and compliance with all laws, regulations, and the Group Code of Conduct.
Technical Skills & Competencies
Core Technical Requirements:
- Platform Expertise:Expert knowledge in Fusion Risk Management or a similar platform leveraging Salesforce capability is a MUST.
- Data Analysis: Strong skills in SQL, MicroStrategy, or Tableau.
- Tools: Expert proficiency in JIRA, Clarity, ADO Boards, Confluence, Visio, and Enterprise Architect.
- API Knowledge: Good understanding of APIs and experience in API mapping.
Proficiency Levels:
- Expert: Data gathering/analysis, Problem-solving, Governance/Support, Written/Verbal communication.
- Advanced: Tactical and Strategic Planning, Budget and Headcount management/forecasting.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Education:
- Proven experience in Technology Resilience and Risk-related projects.
- Extensive background in creating documentation: BRDs, User Stories, FSDs, Business Glossaries, Data Models, and Test Strategies.
- Current knowledge o, governance, and nWoW standards is a significant plus.
- Experience engaging with internal/external audit groups and regulators.
Soft Skills:
- Storytelling: Ability to present data visualizations to senior management to drive decision-making.
- Leadership: Proven ability in negotiation, relationship building, and coaching/mentoring junior BAs.
- Mindset: A can-do attitude with an Agile mindset; ability to learn quickly and synthesize complex issues into recommendations for senior management.
Certifications:
- An industry-recognized Business Analyst (BA) certification is a plus.
