Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and remedial maintenance on electrical systems and equipment in data centres
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems in the data centre.
- Respond promptly to any electrical equipment breakdowns, including during non-office hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- Assist Senior Technical Engineer, Assistant Technical Service Manager & Technical Service Manager in conducting services such as:
- Power audit
- Generator set maintenance
- LV electrical system maintenance
- Thermal scanning
- Grounding measurement
- Provide standby support for activities including genset testing, TNB outages, HT switchgear servicing, electrical load migration, and load testing.
- Install, test, and commission electrical systems such as UPS, power distribution equipment, CCTV, access control, environmental monitoring, and fire detection/suppression systems.
- Maintain and update all maintenance documentation and service reports.
- Continuously learn and master electrical engineering and relevant data centre infrastructure systems to support preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the Technical Service Team Lead and Manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant professional certification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and ability to contribute effective solutions.
- Positive, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
