Technical Engineer - Modern Workplace

Role Summary:

The Technical Engineer provides technical expertise in deploying and supporting EUC software solutions at client locations. This role focuses on advanced setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and project implementation, ensuring seamless integration of enterprise software systems. The Technical Engineer works closely with clients and vendors to resolve complex issues, maintain service levels, and contribute to project success.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Software Implementation: Lead the planning, setup, and configuration of EUC applications, including AD, Exchange, Office 365, and SCCM at client sites.
• Project Execution: Ensure the successful execution of projects, including deployments, migrations, and integrations, aligning with client IT environments.
• Technical Audits: Conduct technical audits to identify and resolve discrepancies in IT configurations and suggest improvements.
• Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to resolve open issues and monitor technical support requirements.
• Quality Control: Perform quality control checks and testing during project rollouts to ensure systems function as intended.
• Client Interaction: Provide technical guidance to client IT teams, ensuring clear communication and resolution of technical challenges.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of system setups, issues, and resolutions to support future troubleshooting.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management to support

Education and Experience:

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 2 years&apos experience in a hands-on technical role with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Certifications: Possession of valid Microsoft Certifications.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Experience with third-party archive systems such as Symantec Enterprise Vault, EAS, EMC Source One, and Email Xtender, including their integration with Exchange.
• Proficient in Exchange Web Services and MAPI protocols.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
