Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare Technical Design for Solar PV System;
- Prepare Technical Drawings include but not limited to Solar PV Layout, Single Line Diagram, Cable Route and other detail drawings;
- Prepare necessary drawings, calculations and information necessary for Project Authority submission;
- Prepare 3D modelling using available software, ex: SketchUp;
- Prepare solar energy yield estimation report using available software, ex: PVsyst;
- Prepare Project Budget;
- Prepare and submit Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Requisition (PR);
- Prepare site visit report and dilapidation report;
- Ensure comply to the timeline given for design and procurement stage;
- Closely liaise with Supply Chain on the procurement of materials status;
- Off and on visit Project Site;
- Attend to meeting with external parties, example: Client, Contractors and Suppliers; A
- Attend internal project meeting starting from kick-off to post-mortem after completion of project;
- Close communication with Project Team to discuss on issues at site due to design related matters;
- Prepare Technical Proposal and Tender to Client;
- Perform site visit for pre-sales and prepare site visit report;
- Prepare necessary documents for handover to client and to internal O&M team;
- Any other ad-hoc task/s to be assigned by direct superior/HOD;
Additional Notes (IF ANY)
- Must possess at least Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Understanding of Solar PV System, utility interconnections, metering requirements and data systems.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa to coordinate events, of working experience in the related field.
- Required language (s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Excellent in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, team working, documentation skills.
- Extra advantage if possesses experience using PVsyst and SketchUp
