The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead (Architect) to drive the strategic design, modernization, and lifecycle management of enterprise virtualization and compute infrastructure within the technology sector. This hands-on leadership role offers the opportunity to architect large-scale Nutanix HCI transformations while mentoring teams and shaping executive-level technology strategy.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development of target-state platform architectures, defining standards for Nutanix virtualization, DR, and HA

• Architect and execute large-scale migrations from legacy VMware environments to modern Nutanix HCI ecosystems

• Serve as senior escalation point and advisor for complex compute and virtualization challenges, overseeing design reviews and POCs

• Define engineering standards and drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell

• Partner with storage, networking, and application teams to align platform capabilities with business objectives and compliance needs

• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations on technology strategy, risks, and modernization roadmaps

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 to 15+ years in infrastructure architecture, platform engineering, or senior IT leadership within large enterprise environments

• Deep expertise in Nutanix (AOS, AHV, Prism), VMware vSphere/vCenter, and Microsoft Hyper-V

• Strong understanding of HCI architecture, converged infrastructure, storage (SAN), and hybrid cloud integration

• Proven proficiency in automation scripting and orchestration tools such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or Terraform

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and manage stakeholders under pressure

• Active Nutanix or VMware certifications are an advantage
