Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MSBI Developer with extensive experience in Azure Power BI and MSBI development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions using Azure Power BI and MSBI tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards in Azure Power BI.
- Optimize existing reports and dashboards for performance and usability.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Participate in project planning and status meetings, providing updates on progress and challenges.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in Azure Power BI is a deal breaker.
- Proficient in MSBI tools including SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Ability to create complex DAX queries and measures in Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and architectures.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in business intelligence development, with a focus on Azure Power BI and MSBI.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
