This role reports directly to the AVP, Finance, Risk & Compliance Systems (FRCS)

the functional head responsible for leading the strategic execution of StarHubs

Finance Transformation Roadmap. As the Functional Lead, you will play a pivotal role

in enabling the next generation of finance capabilities, by shaping a future-ready,

digitally enabled finance systems landscape. This includes advancing automation,

data transparency, process agility, and system integration across critical functions

such as Finance, Audit, Risk, and Procurement.

You will work at the intersection of technology and finance strategy, supporting the

AVP in driving initiatives that modernize StarHubs financial architecture from

streamlining core ERP processes, to enhancing enterprise performance

management (EPM), to embedding governance, risk, and compliance workflows into

everyday operations. Your leadership will directly support the organizations goals of

achieving real-time visibility, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-

making across the enterprise

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Functional Lead FRCS to lead the business process ownership and system capability enhancement across our Finance, Risk, and Compliance technology ecosystem. This role will partner closely with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategic goals into effective system-driven solutions that support StarHubs finance modernization and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in finance systems (SAP ERP, Oracle ERP, Workday Adaptive Planning, UiPath, etc.) and bring a strong functional understanding of financial processes, planning cycles, controls, and compliance workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership

  • Act as the primary functional point of contact for finance, risk, and compliance systems.
  • Drive process standardization, simplification, and automation across areas such as financial planning & analysis (FP&A), record-to-report, procure-to-pay, and compliance monitoring.
  • Lead system capability planning and enhancement cycles aligned to business needs and transformation priorities.

Roadmap & Transformation Delivery

  • Support the Head of FRCS in executing the Finance Systems Roadmap, aligned with StarHubs enterprise finance transformation.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, integration teams, and external vendors to implement solutions that enable agile reporting, scenario modeling, and real-time insights.
  • Participate in major system upgrades, process reengineering initiatives, and digitalization programs.

Analysis & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead functional analysis, requirements gathering, and fit-gap assessments for new features or system implementations.
  • Translate business requirements into system specifications, configuration inputs, and testing strategies.
  • Engage with stakeholders from Finance, Audit, Risk, Procurement, and IT to drive consensus and ensure solutions deliver measurable value.

Platform Operations & Improvement

  • Oversee system configuration, enhancement request backlog, and process documentation.
  • Ensure smooth integration and governance across platforms such as: o SAP ERP / Oracle ERP core financials, procurement, asset management o Workday Adaptive Planning budgeting, forecasting, modeling o UiPath or equivalent automation of repetitive finance tasks o GRC / audit systems risk and control workflows

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, SAP FI/CO, Oracle Financials) preferred
  • Experience 8+ years of experience in enterprise finance systems, with at least 3 years in a lead analyst or functional owner role.
  • Proven experience working with SAP ERP, Oracle ERP, EPM tools (Adaptive/Anaplan/Hyperion), and automation platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to bridge between business requirements and technical delivery.
  • Proactive mindset with a track record of process improvements and transformation contributions
