Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end technical design and implementation of Sapiens IDIT solutions.
- Own the overall technical architecture for new products, enhancements, integrations, and platform improvements.
- Review solution designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and technical analysts.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
Sapiens IDIT Development
- Design and develop solutions using the Sapiens IDIT platform.
- Lead product configuration, workflows, business rules, rating, underwriting, policy servicing, claims and document generation.
- Review and optimise existing IDIT implementations.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable and reusable.
Integration & API Leadership
- Lead API design and integration between IDIT and external systems.
- Work with integration partners to define payloads, mappings and interface specifications.
- Support REST APIs, middleware and enterprise integrations.
- Review interface performance and troubleshoot integration issues.
Delivery & Release Management
- Lead technical planning for project delivery.
- Support sprint planning, estimation and backlog grooming.
- Ensure technical readiness for UAT and Production releases.
- Coordinate deployment activities with vendors and infrastructure teams.
- Drive issue resolution during hypercare and production support.
Production Support
- Lead investigation of production incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend permanent fixes.
- Coordinate with Sapiens Global Support for complex platform issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of high-priority incidents.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with:
- Business stakeholders
- Product Owners
- QA teams
- Infrastructure teams
- Integration teams
- Sapiens Global Services
- Third-party vendors
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide regular technical status updates and risk assessments.
Governance
- Ensure compliance with SDLC, Change Management and Release Management processes.
- Participate in CAB and technical governance meetings.
- Maintain technical documentation, solution designs and implementation guides.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive automation and engineering best practices.
- Identify opportunities to simplify solutions and reduce technical debt.
- Promote reusable frameworks and shared components across projects.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise application development.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Sapiens IDIT.
- Strong knowledge of General Insurance policy administration systems.
- Strong understanding of insurance business processes including:
- New Business
- Renewal
- Endorsement
- Claims
- Underwriting
- Billing
- Experience designing enterprise integrations and REST APIs.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge.
- Experience with JSON/XML payloads.
- Experience leading technical teams.
